I love to eat!, Every time I travel, I look for the best restaurants in Los Angeles, the trendy ones, the ones with a good chef, and I also check on trip advisor on yelp, which has nice reviews.
Lately, I’ve been falling in love with LA, for the beaches, the people, the amazing weather, museums, and the plenty of restaurants and places to eat.
Therefore, these are my favorite restaurants in Los Angeles.
- Gjusta
320 Sunset Ave, Venice CA
I have to go at least twice while I’m in LA, Actually it is located in Venice beach very close to Santa Monica.
Actually it is tricky to know you arrived, in a street with industrial like buildings you will find this hidden gem.
Once inside, it is kind of difficult to catch how it works.
And with a large counter, first you will see the pies, and pastries, next the jams, and finally a fridge with different juices.
Furthermore you will find the beautiful glazed smoked fish, then the salmon, sardines, and further back the perfectly roasted meats ready to be on a delicious sandwich.
Next to the cashier, there are menus, however it was difficult to choose what will I have. It wasn’t easy, but when you get the help you need, everything becomes easy, and you can sit outside on the terrace or on the bar while your order is ready
Try the Chai latte or the Matcha latte, and the fish plate. Bon Apetit!
- Joan’s on Third
8350 W 3rdSt. Los Angeles.
As the name says it is located on third street in Beverly Hills, just block away the famous shopping, the Beverly Center.
When you walk in, on your left you can see the fridge with salads, pastas, and cooked meals.
On your right, there’s the coffee bar and tables. This gourmet place offers from grilled cheese, to tasty eggs Benedict.
What I loved most about this place is that behind the tables there are fridges full of frozen cooked meals to grab and go. I loved the Egg sandwich, it has a light aioli sauce that makes it even more delicious.
- Republique
624 S. LA Brea Ave.
This french style place, in a 1920’s building. Brick walls remain the same as it looked at that time. With communal tables, and on the back a little more traditional seating, this place offers decadent pastries and amazing coffee.
Try the mushroom toast.
- Umami Burger
If you are looking for a gourmet burger, with sweet potato fries and a nice cold beer, this is the place, with a nice cozy atmosphere, there are a few restaurants over the city, so if you are in Santa Monica or Beverly hills, or even LAX, you can find one. They have also some veggie plates, if you are trying to stay fit, there are also good salads, I had the Truffled beet said and it was yummy!
- Milo And Olive
2723 Wilshire Blvd Santa Monica
What I love about this place is that they use fresh produce on every plate they serve.
And what you see on the salad menu is what they found at the local farmers market.
When you first walk in, you can smell the tasty bakery which has been baked in house.
The ambiance is really relaxed, if you are going solo, you can wait a seat at the communal table, and chat with random people, or the bar.
The pizza any you order is crispy and perfectly done at the wood-fired oven.
We had the kale salad and the Bresaola and of course a pizza Margherita, also the garlic knot, as an appetizer, OMG it is simply delicious.
Finally make room for dessert, everything is delicious.
- Bottega Loui
700 S Grand Ave
This place is amazing in my opinion one of the best restaurants in Los Angeles.
With the best pastries they are unbelievable.
To tell you the truth, the best macarons and eclairs intown.
It is located on downtown which actually it is starting to grow.
When I was in LA I found that lots of buildings are being renovated.
The perfectly rows of colored macaroons is the first thing you notice.
It serves pizzas, pastas fresh salads and refined sandwiches,
Above all the servers are really good at what they do, really friendly.
So, you already have a nice list on where to go for Restaurants in Los Angeles, the only thing left for me to say is BON APPETIT!
